After indulging her desire for change (Georgia is the seventh state she has lived in) Laurel finally settled down in Georgia in 1994 to be near her family. She joined the team at LACC in March of 1997 putting her background in accounting, purchasing, general office management and her deep love of animals to good use. A widow, her time outside the clinic is spent reading, surfing the web, bargain hunting and gardening. A great deal of time is also spent taking care of her extensive fur family of
seven cats (Lizzie, Maryjane, Maggie, Max, Yoda, Tonka, and Molly Brown) and two dogs (Charlie and
Spencer).

A truly welcome addition, Leslye joined our staff in June of 2003. Educated in South Africa she relocated to Georgia to be closer to her passion, Border Collie herding competitions. An accomplished competitor, Leslye has participated in competitions all across the USA. Leslye and her husband, Jeff, spend a lot of time playing with and taking care of their fur family which consists of Belle, a 12 yr old Schipperke and Blake, a white German Shepherd that was a stray brought into the hospital and bound for Animal Control. Besides her kennel Manager duties, Leslye has also gone to grooming school and serves as our groomer.
