Our Staff

Laurel Fee, Office Manager

After indulging her desire for change (Georgia is the seventh state she has lived in) Laurel finally settled down in Stone Mountain in 1994 to be near her family. She joined the team at LACC in March of 1997 putting her background in accounting, purchasing, general office management and her deep love of animals to good use.

 

Teresa Vega, Veterinary Technician

 Born in New York, Teresa attended school in California where she received her Technicians License.  Between  caring for her three children and seven pets she is working on transferring that certification to Georgia.  Apart from furthering her career, Teresa enjoys bowling and spending time with family, friends and pets.

Leslye Pinnell, Kennel Mgr/Groomer

A truly welcome addition, Leslye joined our staff in June of 2003. Educated in South Africa she relocated to Georgia to be closer to her passion, Border Collie herding competitions. An accomplished competitor, Leslye has participated in competitions all across the USA. Leslye and her husband, Jeff, spend a lot of time playing with and taking care of their fur family which consists of Jet, a Schipperke, Cedric the Cat and a Border Collie named Moby.  Besides her Kennel Manager duties, Leslye is also our groomer.

Rob Gagnier, Veterinary Assistant     

Born and raised in Georgia, Rob is a huge Braves fan.  He is also a member of WeAreChange Atlanta and enjoys dog training, riding 4-wheelers and spending time with his dogs Chewy (Pit Bull), Angel (Cane Corso), Baron (Yellow Lab), Hershey (Chocolate Lab) and Maddux (Weimeraner).  Although currently attending Gainesville State he has not decided between Law school or Veterinary school.  His special talent is saying the alphabet backwards!

 

Traci Legere, Client Services

Traci joined LACC in 2008 and is a very welcome addition.  She and her husband, Karl, have two dogs, Baldwin and Tuesday.  Traci is very active in her church, plays the piano, takes dance classes and, in her spare time, is going to college.

nter Jeff Naish, Assistant Kennel Manager

Jeff relocated to Georgia from Buffalo, New York. New York's loss was our gain. Jeff has proven to be a tremendous asset and a huge favorite with our patients and clients. An accomplished musician, Jeff also enjoys Mixed Martial Arts Fighting, reading, spending time with his cat, Othello, and writing.  His first book of poetry  "Emptiness like Winter" was just published (on sale at Amazon.com).

Patricia Estrada, Client Services

Born in Brooklyn, NY Patricia was raised in Los Angeles, CA where she graduated from Palisades Charter High School.  Now living in Lawrenceville, GA Patricia is pursuing her goal of attending Gwinnett Perimeter to continue her education.  She has four dogs (Turbo, Peach, Peluchin and Taco); one of which is an accomplished escape artist!!  Bi-lingual, she enjoys reading everything from biographies to fiction in both languages.

Brittany Nelson, Client Services

 A native Georgian, Brittany is attending college when not working.  Her hobbies include traveling, sports and spending time with family and friends.  She has two cats, Precious and Mr. Jynx, and a Shih-Tzu, Mickey.  Precious always puts her nose out waiting for a kiss when she knows Brittany is leaving.

Patricia Craig, Kennel Staff

Joining us in 2007, "Trish" is a wonderful addition to our staff.  Trish spends her "spare" time raising her family.

Tony Estrada, Kennel Staff

Currently attending CGHS, Tony was born and raised in Los Angeles.  Having gone through a bit of culture shock when his family moved to Georgia from California, he has adjusted well and his hobbies include guitar and drums.  When not attending school or working he enjoys reading biographical books and going to concerts. 

Ben Skelley, Kennel Staff

Born in Illinois, Ben's family moved to Georgia when he was 3.  A college sophomore now, Ben is heavily involved with the Drama Department.  He also enjoys reading, video games and spending time with his dog, Betsy.

Nicholas Parsons
Nicholas is our "Shadow" - he is very interested in becoming a Veterinarian so he comes to LACC in the summer and shadows our technicians and doctors. Nicholas is an Honor Roll student and is in the Gifted Program. Besides spending time with his two dogs, Sandy and Honeybear and bird, Dallas, Nicholas enjoys skateboarding, playing guitar, video games and playing soccer.
