Over The Rainbow

Unable are the loved to die; for love is immortality.
- Emily Dickinson
We are never quite prepared for the loss of a pet. Throughout our lives, our pets seem always there for us; they are our “forever” children. They never grow up and move away. They are with us always.
Whether death is swift and unexpected or whether it comes at the end of an illness, few of us are fully aware of what a pet means to our lives until our companion is gone. The death of a beloved pet can carry with it many of the same intense feelings of denial, anger, sadness, guilt and grief normally associated with the loss of a loved human. No two people grieve alike; be patient and be kind to yourself. Do not be ashamed of your feelings. Please explore the tabs above for some helpful links.
Life is short; love today.
