Born and raised in Oklahoma, Dr. Grubbs graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1994 with his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation he stayed at the University for another year doing an Internship specializing in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery. After moving to Georgia in 1995
he worked at the Animal Emergency of North Fulton. Dr. Grubbs joined the Lawrenceville Animal Care Center as an Associate Veterinarian
in 1997 and then purchased the practice in 1998. Since then, he has made a number of improvements to the clinic with more planned for the future.

A quiet man, his compassion for the sick, injured and lost shows in the fact that the clinic now houses four resident cats and a dog, Jughead, rescued from injury and abandonment. His hobbies include disc golf, guitar, golf and reading. He and his wife, Leslie, are very active in their church and have two children, Madison and Carson. They have one cat named
Aggie and a dog, Napoleon. He also works
closely with the Gwinnett Humane Society.

Born in Maryland, Dr. Chandler is an "Air Force Brat" and has lived in a variety of states. After graduating from Louisiana State University in 1985, she relocated to Georgia where she now resides with her husband, Keith.
They have five children. Chris, Phillip,
Kaitlin, Melanie & Robert.
Chris is working towards his MBA
at Georgia Tech, Phillip works for Touching Lives
Ministry, Kaitlyn is a Sophomore at UGA, Athens.
Along with Melanie and Robert, the Chandlers also
live with a number of pets that include horses, dogs,
cats.

When not taking care of her menagerie, Dr. Chandler is
an Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 508, the Brookwood High School Band Boosters and the
Society of Humane Friends. In those rare moments when she has time, she also enjoys gardening and reading.
